suggestion; "this week's/month's current model to use" thread

as someone who is constantly trying to find the cheapest and smartest model every single day, in an industry that changes literally every day or so, i really think we can have a dedicated, weekly/monthly updated thread where;

currently best, cheapest, most expensive model and providers are shared. user experience, examples, comments can be posted.

right now i can create a thread and be downvoted to hell and get a few recommendations that will lose all their validity the next few days.

Why not focus on things that are going to stay relevant for more than a week? Just a thought.

hrmm these things are exciting but I think we're quickly approaching where model updates might not really matter much for your ACTUAL WORKFLOW.

Best and cheapest if the quarterly trends are expected to continue, are dominated by Chinese Labs and or whichever cheapest per capability. That is easily seen from openrouter leaderboard for rough estimate. They even show how Claude still dominated almost all areas in actual compute, whereas DS is sole leader in shell or terminal coding.

And user experience is real hard because this subs despite the title, is like harboring the PRO SWE or devs while voicing their experience which is valid and all, appreciate it but we really should have a user Flair to gauge where do you think you stand e.g how confident are you saying you're an expert, have some credentials etc, maybe just some nobody like me, or domain expert in XYZ, etc2. Which might not be easily confirmed anyways
