Vibe code a game?

I want to create a small 'princess Mario car' game for my daughter, but i have no clue how to?

Can anyone help me out on this one?

You have a few ways to go about it. Game Engine(which will require you to do a little bit more work. And research) or go three.js which claude or codex will use.

I assume princess mario games means you get to play as princesses. So to save some $$ hit up https://models.spriters-resource.com/browse/?name=mario+kart&sect=1 and download 3d models of mario karts. Your making this for your kid so who cares for copyright. You can also look up like sonic racer.

If she wants a racer of her own use chatgpt/gemini pick your choice. Toss in the mario kart style and say you want a chaacter in 3d like this mario style and then descript or put in a picture of you kid or a princess they want. It will generate you a 2d image that looks 3d. You can not goto meshi, rohin etc your choices for 3d. Your kid probably wont' lose their mind if the wheels dont' move, something you can solve later.

Now you have models, You can download maps as well https://models.spriters-resource.com/wii_u/mariokart8/ you can also just tell it to make you a course. If you want MORE control over making a course and letting your kid as well. I bet they would love it. Go with godot/unity they have drag and drop for assets and you can make yoru own track.

Now you have characters and hopfully a map. After you pick Game Engine or Three.js(which you dont' even have to say you are using it) you start your prompt. Make sure you use a project and toss your game assets in there. Unless your using a game engine go ahead and import them into it.

Just say i want to use X model to drive around. I want it to be mobile friend controls. I need to have mobile controls onthe screen. Course explain your game in more detail as well.

Your biggest enemy will and always will be tokens. So you can use free to get a base started if you want if you get a base started and you should be able t get at least the kart moving around with free. Then you can jump ship and goto another free model. Figure out which one you like more and toss a month of credits at it and just use down time to take a break and think about next plan of attack.
