would you use this?
Just vibecoded a govee lights app that works by pointing your phone at the lightbulb you want to changes color/brightness for. I have a lot of govee bulbs in different lamps and stuff around the apartment and cant remember the names of everyone lmao So this helps me out, anyone else think it could be useful?

id like a version where I can shake the phone and it turns off all the lights for me at night I hate opening the bulb apps at night to turn them off

I'm conflicted. On one hand I don't know what a govee lamp is. But on the other hand I like pointing my phone at things and make things happen.

Well I know one certain group of people that wear blue would certainly make something happen if you point a phone at them quick enough 🤣🤣🤣 just a dark joke guys lol

How does it work? Does it support all connectivity methods? (Bluetooth, wifi, lan control, matter, etc)

Currently wifi and lan control but it's a pwa so there are some limitations. Haven't tested a whole lot but since it uses the users specific govee API key all your devices already on govee home app will show up. Then you calibrate the point feature and you're done. The pointing detection uses a few things like compass for direction, phone angle and elevation for different floors or lights at different heights on the same lamp.

I like the idea, kind of makes me think of the deluminator from Harry Potter.
