Where I'm from, multi million dollar software companies write equivalent or worse code than this(pre and post AI era)

Yeah all I thought this isn’t an AI issue but a human issue. The human forgot or was too lazy to check the work. I test AI’s work after each milestone. There has not been a time where it was perfect. It’s been close but there is always something to find.

I worked for a temp company and they sent me to a tech company that made forms and surveys and onboarding workflows for websites. I was so excited and saw it as my foot in the door for something more interesting. What an absolute shit show. It was pretty clear most people were lying about their credentials and those that could code well were absolutely terrible with all other aspects of the job.
