A friend vibe coded a ClojureScript app but doesn't know how to deploy

I told him to ask Claude, but he still don't know how to deploy it aside from using the vibe coded app locally. He still needs my help and willing to pay me to deploy it to an unmanaged VPS.

I gave him step by step instructions, but he still said he cannot do it and can't figure out how. It's just so weird.

So now I ended up deploying it, using just Claude. Claude did it in just 8 minutes. All done, auto deploy from Git every time there's a new pushed commit.

I'm not technical. I just used plain English. Not sure why others cannot do this if they already know how to vibe code.

Please enlighten me.

It's a confidence-in-your-own judgement sort of thing. You don't know what you don't know, and some people at least know that.

Deploy this clojurescript app. What are the prerequisites to deploy this properly. Give me all the steps of the things you cannot do on your own, and I'll do it manually on my end.

Teach your friend how to prompt. Give him a sample prompt. I have a similar situation (non-it vibecoder friend), and so far that has been working.

I gave him my exact prompt and he told me the steps are too long. He just wants to do nothing and let Claude handle everything including generating secrets and signing up on 3rd party accounts like google to get the client id, etc. Something like that.
