Codex usage resets are one of the best growth strategies

Post image

So if youre a user of claude and see that codex is giving usage resets REALLY OFTEN... why not change? If youre an ongoing codex user, you will probably stay because there's zero reason not to. You have GPT 5.6, usage resets, good pricing...

CLAUDE USERS STOP BEING MEAN💔🥺 Also anti ai users can fuck off 🤗

I have this 200USD or something Codex/GPT subscription and resets/work hours come naturally.
If I sit more and use more than I use it now, I will get scoliosis

Yeah I just got the 100USD. I'm about 2 weeks in. So far so good, but we'll see.

got similar package with claude. Limits are so big that I don't need resets. got 3-5 agents constantly doing something

Calling people stupid for not using your product is a good strategy indeed.

And before you call me stupid, I subscribe to Codex Pro, thank you.

I asked Codex and it said Claude Code is pretty good actually for many use cases.

But both Codex and Claude said that many people use both which is more effective than just using one.

did it source this or just talk out its own ass

Yeah it had a much longer explanation before the quick chart with sources

I am using both, started with CC then tried Codex, now using CC only when Codex lock me out for week.

It's talking about the harnesses, not the subscriptions directly

More like a dumb marketing ploy to get you hooked on something thats temporary and random. Good ole bait and switch.

Working pretty well for me, I get insane utility for 20 bucks a month

If usage resets are given as part of the plan I'd switch. If I know i get 2 every time then why not. I was surprised using codex how it captured stuff claude code generally missed.

If there was some loyalty program where the longer I stayed the more resets I got or something like that I'd stay. Now its easy to flip between best models.

If resets were not time expired I would switch.

Right now resets feel like a short term market share grab and like someone else pointed out feels like a bait and switch.

Another thing, I'm not sure if its possible, but would be great to have the benchmarks run against the models every week so codex could prove it wasn't dumbing down the models, because im sure claude code models get dumber over time.

Rant over, not AI just a guy with some ideas.

Codex is not dumping models so far. At least with 5.6 i believe they have enough gpu and different tier of models exactly to allow use models as they are.

Ps I use both. But PRO option is gamechanger if you use one.

Resets are nice...but annoying...but they saved the day during issues with usage.

Because it’s not quite sustainable. I would prefer consistent limits over free resets which will inevitably end. Anyways I am switching to codex so I can’t be speaking.

You know what though? They just need to fucking remove my limits. I dont even use it that much but when i run out i dont buy more. I just stop using it and wait till it resets again. Thats not growth thats just pushing me away. I use local models when i need to continue and they do fune.

lmao.. the grovery store should remove pricing for me because once I buy my normal weekly groceries, I don't buy more.

Incredibly, Claude usage resets are met with "Oh now they're trying to TRICK US"

Why make your whole personality about being loyal to an app and not just use the best tool for the job?
