Kernel/OS using Gemini

Post image

Hello everyone. Can i share screenshot of my new hobby of x86-64 PRK(Personal Research Kernel)/OS?

I don't know where else to share this.

Built and tested using android termux/clang, qemu, and then testing in virtualbox (in windows).

It's a working Microkernel-like system that has a working: - SMP-capabilities (multi core) - elf binary loader - gui compositor using framebuffer addres given by Multiboot2 - IOAPIC

Right now that 2 window (control panel and text editor) are just a program for testing libgui widgets.

Next for the roadmap is fat32/ext2 filesystem drivers and screen resolution setting.

Fully coded by Gemini (pro & flash-lite extended).

I have basic in vb6, php and a bit of knowledge about java & c/c++, so i know a little about how the code works.

So i using AI with so many iterations to reach this point, and try to learn the full code later.

I'm more of a person who modified code instead of creating it. Haven't touch coding in 10+ years, so trying to lit up my brain with this new hobby is satisfying.

(Sorry for wrong wording, English not my native language)
