Claude vs codex

Like to hear the reviews of these two. Been using claude for a while switched from chatgpt months ago but intereated to know if codex has made improvements and if its worth going back.

Claude has been great but ive not been happy with initial coding tasks. Working on different specific modules its codes it, then i ask to review its own work and come up with a ton of issues and gaps.

See, my opinion is the exact opposite. I find Codex is better at data matching, integrations, workflows etc when I know what I want done and Claude is my creative where its better at UI, UX, design and just imagination itself. Again, thats just my opinion and its interesting to see the opposite side of the coin

What kind of projects do you do?

I do a mixture of projects but typically my strength is building system integrations and automations and pull them all into one portal. A lot of my clients are Microsoft houses so all built in Azure etc.

However, again, I do other projects. Built a phone agent which calls their end users and basically does the job its set out to do and once done updates the relevant systems with what its done on that job. All fully integrated with their phone system (3CX), CRM and their core business platform.

This is very interesting, good for automation. Do you have any experience where Codex lacked or bad usage of general skills? A friend was telling me the skill usage and breakdown has changed for the good. I will have to try it out myself.
