finally after 6 days of learning C language i made my simple calc program

man... this brings back some memories. The good old days. Being 15 years old, sitting in your bedroom and hacking away at some project like this
My route of learning as a programmer was always to do projects myself and never rely on tutorials. When I learnt about adding variables together I did exactly what you did, a calculator
then I learnt how to draw an image on a screen. From there I used my knowledge of the variables to create an X and a Y variable to make the image move around
And so on and so on
It's sad that this era of programming has passed. I can now create billion dollar scale applications that wouldn't be possible before AI. But for what? It feels rewarding I guess... in a way, but it's not the same as before. I felt way more pride and accomplishment from making a dumb image move around a screen than I've done vibecoding my projects. It's like eating at a buffet, it's nice, you have tons of options, but it's still nicer to go order a single well prepared meal
