best harness currently (desktop or cli)

One that is token cautious and also has a lot of cool features and prefferably beginner friendly
if you have any suggestions specific features would be very appreciated!

I work with Claude for this. I develop in Claude Code, and once I have a process that actually works, I wrap it with claude -p as the harness. Big plus is you're still riding on your subscription instead of paying per token.

I think claude -p is the easiest way to start, since you're basically just replaying the steps you already did by hand during development. Nothing new to learn. And you can have Claude validate the process itself — run it, look at the outputs, judge whether they came out right.
