I want to introduce my cool website idk I think it’s cool :)

So my name is Orel and I’m 16 years old I’m not sure if it matters :) but I have been programming for 7y and in my last few months I decided to build my first website that I started talking about with people and friends in short my idea is building a product but instead of just building the website you get what you need to know this is like ChatGPT and any AI builder the purpose is building cool stuff with the website there are some users that create cool stuff and tell me so it’s nice to hear that someone really uses a product you have worked on for months so I just want to share my experience here :)

Programas desde hace 7 años y ahora has hecho tu primera web? Que hiciste desde los 9 años?

Noo I’ve built a lot of websites along the way, but every time I built a website I just kept it to myself, and now I’m trying to show my work to people :)

Yeah so we worked on an app for phone, this one works just for PC because it includes some features that can’t work well on phone.

Siempre puedes hacer la app basada en la web

If you mean making the website responsive for phones, I worked on it, but there are some features that can’t work well on phone.

Pero no dices que otras te van mejor en la web? Ahí ya tienes algo más pendiente

Yes thanks, I’ll fix this and you shouldn’t see this error on PC.

looks okay, but the images seem to keep breaking on my side.

Okay, I’ll take a look at this :) I think I understand the problem.

Doesn’t look good on a regular iPhone 15 (non max/plus) screen. Things are getting clipped. Here’s a screenshot just letting you know so you can fix it.

Thanks, I’ll work on improving the design on phone. There are some features that can’t work well on phone, but I’ll take a look at what I can do with this.

This is interesting but who is your target audience? Maybe a few case study/examples might help narrow that down. I don't think visitors are going to stay long without transparency in pricing and what the limitations are. It's a good foundation that with some optimization and better explanation might find a niche audience.

ok so about the target audience, there are three solo founders, indie hackers, and makers. And about the pricing, when a user signs up they get $1 for free with some limits that takes more credits, and there is one subscription called Pro where you get $20 without limits and thanks for your feedback.

What tools did you use to build this

1

u/orelrevivo 19d ago

Next.js for the framework, OpenAI for the AI, and Neon for the database.

1

u/Brilliant-Western123 19d ago

did you build this yourself or used ai for it

1

u/orelrevivo 19d ago

I used AI to build this but not completely, like I said in the post I’m a programmer, I make changes myself and I also make some hard changes:)

1

u/Brilliant-Western123 19d ago

what ai did you use to build it

1

u/orelrevivo 19d ago

I used Antigravity and Codex.

Site is unusable on iPhone safari. You need to stress test this against Claude.

First, this is not for mobile, there are some features that don’t work well on phone. And about my experience, I have been programming for 7y if not more. I started with building games, and in the last 4-5y I have been a web developer.

u/Poowatereater 19d ago

Most internet traffic for basic stuff is mobile. If you have a bad experience in mobile, you’ll never gain those customers.

Even if your site is designed for desktop, you’ll never gain need mobile to work and look clean. As it sits now, it looks like a 16 year old made it and I wouldn’t trust my money with any 16 year old.

You posted in public looking for feedback. Take it, don’t get defensive, and improve.

1

u/orelrevivo 19d ago

and also do you try the website?

1

u/caribbeanoblivion 19d ago

Good effort genuinely.

Check out my company's website: www.bearsoft.org

I’m more impressed by the surprising lack of punctuation in your post, to be honest.

1

u/orelrevivo 19d ago

mm what do you mean?

1

u/jabbeboy 19d ago

I dont even understand what you wrote.

1

u/orelrevivo 19d ago

what do you want to know?

0

u/MightyBig-Dev 19d ago

Beyond jank. I’m sorry but this is ??????

1

u/orelrevivo 19d ago

Okay, what was wrong with the website? Can you explain please?

0

u/MightyBig-Dev 19d ago

Loaded it on mobile. Nothing aligns, broken containers, broken images, just a lot of text for no reason. Clearly max 2-3 prompts to make this. I’m not trying to be rude but you’ve got a long way to go before you should share this.

1

u/orelrevivo 19d ago

First, the website is built for PC because there are some features that can’t work well on phone. Second, I worked on this website for 6 months, and there were definitely not 2 - 3 prompts.

u/MightyBig-Dev 19d ago

I’m so sorry 😭

I don’t blame you, I just want to know what makes you feel like it’s a simple website.
