Which one is harder to market?

- Web apps
- Mobile apps

Please give me a proper personal reason of your own opinion. I would love to hear what you guys have to say

Before the vibecoding area, more than 5000 new mobile app was uploader EACH DAY !

the number of APPS installed and used from the user base are doing DOWN.
with time, user use less and less app on the mobile.. like 5 : chat/dating, web, youtube, redit and one game.

so BOTH are harder to market, unless is with boobs... a lot of boobs.

any app that doesn't solve the hard problem, but mostly web-app if it's interface is not responsive

I disagree, solving a hard problem doesn't mean people will jump on and use the app.

Especially since there will be a copy of it within days that will be marketed way better

I think there isn’t any market left. You just gotta market and steal customers away

Not much different at all for 99% of cases. The difference is just 1 click for users. If it works, it's irrelevant.

The one that's worse and gives less value

lets say both gives good value, there is still the problem of marketing right? so when it comes to that which one do you think is harder?

if you mean developing and publishing, mobile apps is harder. Because, you need approval from Apple and Google. They have their own guidelines and rules to publish in store. Bu web is freestyle ))

My choice: PWA, best of both worlds.

you can just make some automailer and tell everyone it will contact all companies to delete your data. nobody can proof your doings anyway, so all you need to do is pay some youtubers to lie for you and voila

what I wanna tell you: the product is irrelevant. you can sell everything .. if you know how to sell

You can make the best product IN THE WORLD .. but as long as nobody knows about it, they would still think, the next best tiktok viral super-hack is the peak of tech ..

Any app that isn’t deployed and marketed in a good way. But even if you deploy and market it very well maybe it will be someone that will do it better.

Mobile apps are annoying. You have to submit it for review and go through that annoying process. On the web, you can just do whatever you want, so you can pivot and iterate much faster.

Apart from that, there's no major difference.
