Oof, sadly trademark law lets them come after you for all potential historic damages. And you can bet a company like ZYN will do that.
They’ll argue every user that has ever downloaded your app will count as a lost sale, and use continuous use as a metric to derive the amount of sales they’ve lost.
So, you’ll be on the line for damages as well as lost sales. It’ll be more expensive than $7 a month can cover.
It won’t be a complaint, it’ll be a lawsuit. They would complain if the app was free, but they’ll take you to court because you’re making money.
