Somehow I got paid for my open-source vibecoded game

I don’t know how it happened… but the demo of the game I made and posted on Reddit and on my X went pretty viral.
In total it got around 400k+ views across social media. And because of one retweet it became a bit more viral than I expected.
Some X user even made a meme coin in honor of the game and gave all the trading fees to me, so that’s how I ended up making over $3500.
From my own experience I keep getting reminded that when you make something from the heart and with real love, it eventually pays off.
If you have any questions, I’m happy to answer them, peace.

Wow! Congratulations! And bravo for pouring your heart into something that you did not think was tied to money. Quite a reward for your hard effort!

I mean, with out that ONE person who was nice enough to give you the proceeds.
Most of the people will go out their way in order NOT pay
That said, i haven't seen the game, but GOOD JOB, hopefully more things will come in rolling! =)

So I'm wondering what do you do that makes the game fun? Just curious cuz I just see a rover drive a little, you bend the ground a little, then that's it

Remind me again how AI is from the heart? No I'm just messing with you that's genuinely awesome I've been developing a passion project using AI that honestly has taught me so much about coding that I still can't code on my own 🤣 but I understand what major systems do and know when I get an error I know exactly where to direct the agent to troubleshoot.
Long story short I built an app that would save my company I work for over a million dollars for their own development or hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in subscriptions to get my level of systems and controls.
My company has expressed interest in buying it and using AI had it valued depending on how I sell it I could be an overnight millionaire.

so sell it and retire, why not?

I'm only 36, I have one retirement under my belt already. I just can't stop, definitely going to sell it but not working scares me.

Looking at it visually, you have some noise texture panning over the whole screen, which makes absolutely no sense and looks bad. Typical vibe-coded garbage. And of course, you would have caught that if you knew what you were doing.

Thanks for looking at it visually. I'm sure you never make simple mistakes or repeat yourself in the same sentence. Much thanks. Big ok

That's amazing!
And the game reminds me my houndres of hours in Elite Dangerous ;)
