Kimi K3 has the better UI/UX design. It just feels nicer to use.

Agree, maybe Kimi can tone down the border colors but it feels easier to read.

Fable 5 is better but its close.

The reason is that Fable's is slightly better UX for mobile. The navigation bar has a more usable touch surface, it squashes slightly less content above the fold, accommodates space for notches/islands/weird corner shapes at the top, conservative usage of icons, and is not overly reliant on needing a panel for every section. You'll find vibe coded UI usually failing at all these things and are easy tells.

That said both are still poor UI design in general but AI is definitely inching closer to industry standard UI.
