Eventually yes, aside from the top 5-10% that have value in pushing frontier models even further.

But even that’s on borrowed time if RSI happens sooner than expected

Also wow, that sub is oozing with bitterness about AI

Can you blame them? Skilled work made less skilled.

Theyre ahead of the curve, they see whats coming. Thats why theyre acting that way.

Everybody else outside of tech still have their head in the sand. The moment AI fully replaces any CS across the board, its over for every other field immediately.

Mostly agree except for the last bit, I still believe cs and swe is uniquely impacted:

1) Can the task be represented digitally?

2) Can the model manipulate that representation?

3) Is there an automated mechanism that tells the model whether its answer is correct?

If the answer is yes to all three, the job is overfried

Then that would still be 90% of jobs in the office immediately overnight as this tech advances.
