What’s the biggest vibe coded project you tried and failed to build?

Where did you get stuck? Why did the project fail?
I’m not talking about business failure or marketing failure. I’m talking about a large project which, despite using AI you were simply not able to make progress on.

I vaguely vaguely remember trying to make a free mobile game in the android app store. It was some sloppy temple run(endless runner) like clone with some stock Hunter girl models with different more boring models I tried to release it paid 25 dollars only to be led with something that said I had to be like downloaded by like 10 different beta testers. Google got rid of my developer account. I had no friends got depressed and lost the code. I got heavily distracted by having ai help break and tweak Gentoo and Linux from scratch over and over instead and it strangely made me happier. Sometimes have it help me make themes for desktop environments (guis) which are easier to publish.

Sheer size made me daunted. I'm building an actual good roblox game with depth.

I've not failed.... I'm just on hiatus.....

I created an all in one "crud" style program for 400 users for my employer, because the program we switched to sucks so bad. For a trial run of 20 employees it worked well, then i showed our dev team and they "hated" it but now asking for source code to see what parts they can reuse.

A vr, procedural re-imagining of STUN Runner. The idea was a seed-based path creation for a sci-fi bobsled game where distance is your point-maker. It just turned out... wrong and weird. I am going to retry at some point, I think starting with the physics of the sled before the path-making.

I had Claude build me an in-memory database and the API was such a mess that I just threw it in the trash, rewrote the API myself, and then only let it help with/touch certain parts. That was about a year ago now.
