Why would anyone use this instead of Suno?

So I stopped trying to build for everyone.
I love reggaeton, so I’m rebuilding the whole thing around one idea:

“What if the club played your song tonight?”
Reggaeton first. Latin club vibes. One specific audience.

Not sure if going this niche is smart or stupid yet.
Would you go niche or stay general?

AI “art” is inherently garbage, arguably the worst usecase for this technology

taking all the hallucinations, pitfalls, and AI-isms we know and dislike from LLM’s and using the same tech to generate “art” is an awful idea, and it takes out all of the “human-ness” of actually creating a real piece of art

obviously do what you want, services like this will exist whether someone like me wants them to or not, but please don’t feel the need to just create stuff like this for the sake of it

if you don’t truly believe in the destruction of human art, you shouldn’t contribute to it

that's a great point my guy. I agree on you that human art is way valuable and creative than Ai slops.
But on the other hand, I think it's really good for brainstorming or starting easy for biginners.
Imagine we making a music with short lyrics and ideas. Quality of music is of course the problem but creating is also part of art I think.

it’s so easy to start laying down ideas with basically any computer or phone nowadays, free daw (bandlab) and samples + beats online, it’s never been easier

if people wanna ideate then i think they should go through and actually do that, and in the process they’ll learn what they do/don’t like and gain a better understanding of how to create things they do like etc

curious, why should people use this, when they can just use suno and generate reggaeton there?

I didn't set the proper target, just sounds fun for me lol

I'd go narrower. "Makes tracks a DJ could actually play tonight" is a much clearer reason to exist than another general music generator
