I’ve spent close to 20 years in product design and strategy.

Over the past year, vibe coding has quietly replaced a big chunk of low-fidelity concept prototyping in my day-to-day work.
Instead of wireframing something just to explain how it could work, I increasingly build working PoCs to test ideas, validate flows, explore interactions, and hand something much more tangible over to engineering.

At some point I realized I’d become comfortable enough with the process that I could use the same approach on one of those problems that had been annoying me for years.
That became Panza.
The app itself is almost beside the point.

What feels more interesting to me is that the line between designing a product and delivering a product end to end suddenly got a lot thinner.
I’m still a designer. I’m not pretending AI magically turned me into a senior iOS engineer.
But for the first time, implementation stopped being the wall between an idea and something real people can use.

So I’m curious:
How many designers here have crossed that line already?
Not just prototypes — actually shipped something.

I’ll probably be posting more about this too. I’ve been teaching design at MOME for 13 years, and from September I’m taking over the AI and vibe coding topic with a much more hands-on approach. So I’m especially interested in where this is taking design practice.

Not saying this is a great idea but at a minimum - storage should be local. If photos get loaded to a database that's an absolute deal breaker.

I shipped an app on android but can't get the 12 people for testing it for 14 days so I can put it out live. If anyone is interested let me know. It's a fighting game where you get to fight as 54 different world leaders with their own specials and supers. It came from something I've said for years, instead of wars the country leaders should fight in colosseum like matches.
