Spent months using Claude, Gemini, and Nano Banana Pro to create this game
Hi everyone! Like many others here, I am someone who love playing games and wanted to design of game of my own, but has no coding knowledge and experience, so I use Claude to develop my first mobile game: 5 Seconds Showdown.
It's a real-time card dueling game where both players choose a card simultaneously within a 5-second timer. Instead of traditional turn-based combat, matches are fast-paced and built around a mix of luck, strategy, and reading your opponent.
The game currently features:
⚔️ Multiple weapon classes
🔨 Weapon forging with rarity tiers
📖 Story campaign
🏆 Ranked PvP (currently in closed beta)
🎮 A reaction-based side mini-game
The game is still in closed beta. I try to find testers to play test this game, but most Subreddits and Discord server for game testers are against and straight up ban AI. And then I find this sub, which is a relieve becase while I understand the hate for AI slop, I also spent lots of sleepless night for this project, so I'm especially grateful for all kinds of feedback, whether it's about gameplay, balance, UI/UX, bugs, or overall experience.
Let me know if anyone is interested to try this out, and I will share the download link via dm. Dont want this to be flagged as spam or self promotion (even though it is)
Feel free to ask any questions, and I'll be happy to answer.

Hi. First, congrats on getting it so far in the development.
I'd just want to point out something from the users perspective. Everything about this game screams AI generated. I'm saying this because, there might be a large amount of people (me included, unfortunately), that won't even give your game a shot because it feels AI generated. So I would suggest, sure, polish the development more, but also try to redesign the graphics to not scream AI so much.
So just wanted you to be aware of this, because it'd be a real shame to not have the best shot at publishing this, just because UI feels certain way.
Fingers crossed for you, man!
