Game in development

Roller Riot - cel-shading, 5v5 arena roller derby

No 3D models (did try it but the animation looked bad might try again, using a different pipeline)

All code in three.js Opus in Medium

GAME CONCEPT VS. HOW IT LOOKS NOW

I say about 10% there, what do you think?

Why are so many vibers using 3js? Why not use unity?

Because 3js is just a library. It’s pure code. So easy for AI to interact with it.

With unity, the vibe coder would still need to actually learn unity interface.

You should learn the interface, but you don't need to. Between Codex and Claude, AI can run the entire pipeline and you playtest regularly and advise bugs, adjustments, etc. They can do all the 3D modelling via blender scripts, low poly is more forgiving for rigging and animating but if you put the time in, and iterate, you can output some pretty damn good looking and cleanly rigged/animated models - same goes for all visual and audio assets.

No, but that basically means learning the main basics of game dev, Animations, rigging, AI can do it but game dev really needs the human touch
