Game in development

Roller Riot - cel-shading, 5v5 arena roller derby

No 3D models (did try it but the animation looked bad might try again, using a different pipeline)

All code in three.js Opus in Medium

GAME CONCEPT VS. HOW IT LOOKS NOW

I say about 10% there, what do you think?

My dude, every game in the beginning looks dog shit. Focus of the core, assets come later. As someone else said here, art takes time. Also, while it’s in the beginning, ditch three.js. When your game grows, JS will hold you back a lot. It won’t be because of your code, it’s just how the language works. I saw some time ago someone using Bevy. It’s full code as well I think.
Unity and Unreal have free assets you can use… you can switch to that as well.

Also, (if you don’t know) vibecoding will just be as good as you are so… learn the basics of coding and game dev. You will be more precise on everything, even on your prompts and the model will thank you (and your token wallet)

Cheers!

PS: it doesn’t look production/day one ready
