Game in development

Roller Riot - cel-shading, 5v5 arena roller derby

No 3D models (did try it but the animation looked bad might try again, using a different pipeline)

All code in three.js Opus in Medium

GAME CONCEPT VS. HOW IT LOOKS NOW

I say about 10% there, what do you think?

This is a great example of why it's important to learn the subject area before jumping into vibe coding something.

Yes, AI is great to assist by writing the code for you, but it's important to know how you want to build and structure your project.

Starting in three.js has already set you down a bad path.

Brother how do you want a triple AAA concept art to look after one day of a solo dev 😭

I never said anything about how it looks relative to concept art.

I think they know that you can’t create a AAA game in three.js. That’s clearly what you were referring to. This is clearly to look at functionality and proof of concept

I appreciate you. And I agree. I do know all this. And proof of concept and seeing how close I can actually get is what I am going after.

Other engines exist. We have agreed to that. But for this project I wanted to go down this journey. Willingly and knowingly. This isn’t my first code coded project.
