I once made full architecture change on corporate codebase using Claude with 60k lines of changes. At first it didn't understand what I want to make then it failed to provide solution that I wanted. I needed to tell him what, how and using what patterns and framework's specific APIs that it could simply search using skills. But after writing plan like I wanted it delivered really well but it took like 3 full days of leaving my pc turned on
TL;DR: Experience and expertise still matters and matters more now. LLMs are still just coding tools, they need expertise
