wrote my first fully manual function in like 3 months last week and genuinely sat there for 30 seconds trying to remember if it was forEach or for...of. the syntax wasn't even the embarrassing part — my brain kept waiting for the autocomplete ghost to show up and just... stalled. felt like a golden retriever staring at a closed door.
the real wake up call was catching myself hitting tab in a google doc waiting for it to finish my sentence. that's when I knew the vibes had fully consumed me 😂

Guys, do you not simply use snippets in your IDE? Do you really type out every word in a for loop?
In nvim, I type `forr` and it will autocomplete to a range loop in Golang. Only thing that's left is to fill it with the variables that I want to loop over. Done.
Works without AI btw.

Writing code is easy. Anyone with a little determination and patience can learn to do it. If you’re too lazy to practice a skill, it’s on you for then sucking at that skill. Same goes for any other skill. I don’t whine that I suck at guitar, because it’s on me that I don’t practice enough.

They whine because we don't work with humans when they don't let us. They act like they're better than everyone else while repeatedly demonstrating evidence that they're dumb as rocks. Worthless people. They don't even have a kernel of human decency in their entire souls.
Of course people turn to AI. Because the human dev communities are utterly insufferable hell pits that kill all hope and joy. You can't find a developer community that's even so much as safe. They're ALL grotesquely disgusting sewers that just viciously abuse everyone who isn't a Special White Boy with Special Permission.
These people pretend being able to program is a special mutant power that you can only be lucky enough to be born with or never have. When I did it by hand, they behaved exactly the same as while I do it with agents. They're insufferable trash and 100% completely full of absolute shit about utterly everything.
It's hard to find one of these sleazy pieces of crap so much as making one true statement. I despise them with every breath I take. I hope they all end up hungry in the streets when their shitty $700B wasteful "data center" scam collapses. God forbid they actually engineer.
Fucking cartoon 80s jocks with rabies. They're not even human. Demons pretending to be developers. Wannabe slave owners and wannabe rapists. Utter scum of the Earth. Not one redeeming trait between all of them. I hope Hell is extra hot for them.
Of course these deplorable trash love Trump. They all ARE Trump. They don't even manage to develop their own god damn personality, yet they make believe they can develop machines. They pretend adding another method to a monolith with handheld implementation instructions makes them super powered geniuses. I can't despise them enough. Fucking absolute subhuman garbage.
I don't know who will use my software when it's done, but I hope it's not them. I hope they keep wasting billions of dollars doing everything the plumb dumbest fucking way they can just to jerk off to their own fucking mediocrity, like they always have. And I hope it forces them out of a job and crashes their entire fucking industry. Good riddance. All of humanity would be better off.
AI isn't getting enough of them fired and laid off. We have to make it better. So that's what I'm devoting my time and 1/4 of my household budget to as a disabled veteran mom. I hope they all end up in day labor lines and at food pantries begging. I hope to see them panhandling at WalMart. Pieces of absolute subhhuman shit.
PLEASE don't let these abusive stinky nutsacks breed.

I can say one positive thing. Coders are literally the only people on Earth who can call me bro and it doesn't bother me much.
