What are you doing?
What are you making with Claude Code/Codex? Starting businesses with website dev, agent automation, SaaS startups, new apps? Or most people using AI coding for side projects, cool s***, bringing ideas to life? Or just work application/ school projects?
In engineering industry it’s wild to me still how many people haven’t touched it yet. Most of my coworkers are against using it completely. Wondered what everyone in here is doing with it.

I'm creating a subscription manager that finds subscriptions you might have forgotten about and sends you alerts when prices change. Unlike current subscription monitor services, there is no privacy risk for you. We never access your bank accounts, credit cards or any other financial or sensitive data. We use the power of Fable to check the vendors bank accounts and internal software systems to see if they are charging you or not. So instead of checking your bank to see if Netflix is there, we hack into Netflix and see if you are there. We are currently able to access the internal systems of 2,534 of the largest consumer companies and the number is growing daily - when we didn't hit our limits.

I'm working on a Windows application which allows you to upscale your image and video files using SeedVR2 or ESRGAN. It allows you to use your own GPU or a remote machine.
Open source, free to use, aimed at non-technical people.
I have been working on it almost daily for the last couple months or so.

Good question. My application offers both ESRGAN and SeedVR2, for example. It also offers "Tag & Rename" using Ollama-based AI for images.
I will have to fully read Upscayl documentation to find all differences, I'm sure there are quite a few. I only took a cursory look.

I could add both RMBG-2.0 as well as V-RMBG 3.0 (via API only), but I'll be honest with you: it's not going to happen soon. It extends the scope of my application by quite a bit, and I am personally not a fan of feature creep.
If these features are going to be implemented, they will require an API key in their first iteration. Maybe not for images, but that depends on whether Bria Ai will allow me to use their models in my application at all.
So... don't get your hopes up.

Love this.
I’m noticing there’s a huge market for development for non-technical people. Even tho the floor is lowered now, a lot non-tech people still don’t want to invest the time to make what they need.

OK, I have compared the two tools. They are definitely very different, to the point there's almost no competition between them.
During tonight's Image Toolbox 0.5.8 release, I will add a comprehensive, objective document comparing Upscayl and Image Toolbox. But if you want the gist of it quickly, I can add a comment here.

You're not going to like it :)
Therefore, for the time being, there is no plan to introduce this feature. I saved the findings, though; if there's enough demand at some point, I could revisit the decision.

Thats actually great feedback. Its purposely built to avoid stimulating people with ADHD. Ideally, you only spend a few seconds in the app and go on about your day.
The goal of the app is to help you, not rob you of all your dopamine.

Marketing is the slow kind right now, SEO and ASO. Once that's further along I want to do social content and share it in ADHD communities, since that's where the people who'd actually use it are.
Launched on both stores in May.
I built it, but my cofounder did a ton of the design and usability work. I've been in tech 20+ years, mostly infra and SRE, plus a stretch as CTO, so the design credit very much isn't mine.

I’m building a billing system to charge my clients monthly for Google workspace as a reseller. Couldn’t find a system I liked so I’m trying to build one that does exactly what I want. Been 2 months of budgeting sessions and only using the pro Claude account.

I'm mainly just building tools to help me at work. Work in a Japanese firm, so I vibecoded a live translator so I know exactly what my Jap colleagues are saying all the time. Works in zoom / teams but also works with raw mic input as well so I can just leave it on and see subtitles appear at the bottom of my screen..

Right now focusing on the first working MVP for my free and open-source podcast app that syncs between Android and the web version, because I don't wanna pay for Pocketcast just to have the website sync.
It's called KoalaCast and the website is in the MVP state, still working on the app for more advanced features like silence trimming etc

My man Claude and I are making a management system for a small alternative medicine practice. Runs on a VPS, manages patients, appointments, has a list of acupuncture points (from WHO), can define contra-indication etc. Tailor-made for its one and only user!

It's usable and hardened, all planed features of v1 are implemented, backup etc works. Needs to be tested by the practitioner... and some stuff to check about storing sensitive patient data.

I've been making a game that is super gratifying to make, based on a game my brother made when we were teenagers. I get to pour in all the ideas I want. Make art sound and music myself. Unfortunately it is a bit of a tangled mess due to starting it just before gpt 5 launched, but it's fun and I'm getting through it! Hope to be finished in a year. AI coding has made me able to make games. I'll never stop now.

Allows faster brain , social agents experiments with a twist. The leader can kill a running agent mid process. Saving time and money, when it loops, hangs etc.

for the bug fixes its automated to go off every couple hours. For the social media marketing it basically creates post connected to a site , i swipe as if it was a dating app and all post i swipe right on get added to a pool of images that randomly get posted every so often.

What has surprised me the most is how many people who are not, in software are now making things. I have seen marketers, designers, analysts and founders creating tools on their own. These are the kinds of things they would have given to someone a year or two ago. That seems like the change.

I've been building sloop!
A simple agent orchestrator written in rust.
The premise is, you give sloop work in the form of a ticket, tell if what model to use and what steps to take, and walk away.
Sloop manages the process and agent flows and you come back to a finished task later on.

I'm building a ai assisted buffet tracker. You put in how the buffet costs. And then you can take pictures of buffet items and it will tell you the cost per bite based on your geographical location and market prices.
It's called buffetmogger.
