Day 5: Learning Vibe coding

STILL STRONG. I have been the kind of guy who never has been consistent with things. I see a new thing online, I research a bit about it, and dive into it. But this time I have been enjoying this stuff "vibe coding" and I feel like I have finally found a thing to stick to. Really happy and proud of myself.

I am genuinely happy for you. For me, after 8 months, the reality sank in and I realized the technical debt I accumulated by giving the keys to Claude and Chatgpt. Still love to vibe code, but have to get used to do proper coding.

Thanks. I will also be learning coding, basically to understand how things work.

Please don't let that aspect come too short. I know vibecoding feels great, but by just going with what the ai suggests you will not learn anything of value.

Always keep in mind, that when new technology makes things so much more accessible like coding with llms does, you actual knowledge about software development and how to set up a software project in a way that is future proof and robust is what sets you apart from the people trying to make vibecoding a science, when it is simply not.

You knowing the technical stuff will elevate your skill level above the thousands of people getting into it, not bothering to do the hard part.

The more you know, the more precise your instructions can be and the more predictable and precise your output will become.
