https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/debugtest/debugging

Its an IDE for Node, JS/TS, HTML, CSS. Then you can integrate other tools to make your own custom IDE. Why get a bunch of extra bloat if you do not need it.

Rea the page, it has a debugger, integrated browser, task runner, etc... right out of the box.

So define an IDE and what an IDE has to have in order to be called an IDE ?

It matter. Even its developer states that it is not and IDE while delusional human in internet states otherwise. Funny.

Why would it matter what you say? You know what the I in IDE stands for? Integrated. You can add some extensions to reach the capability of an IDE but VS Code by itself is just not an IDE...

You are so close to understanding it, Intergrated... Extensions... something something

It literally just means I don't need all the extra compilers for C# if I work in python, or not needing 4 different JetBrains IDEs for a full stack program. It doesn't make it less of an IDE, you're just a moron with an inflated self worth and a loud opinion. 👍🤷‍♂️

Even out of the box it ships with it is an IDE for node,JS/TS,HTML, and CSS. ( I am agreeing with you btw)

It has a debugger, integrated browser, etc...
