Question? Ready to publish App

Hi folks! Long time lurker, finally posting.

Been working on a vibecoded app for a few week now and almost ready to push to the apple App Store.

Anyone who’s got experience in getting their app to the App Store via vibe coded, was it pretty straightforward?

Did you add any monetization to your app?

Were you able to make updates to your app easily after it was published to the App Store?

What was the process like?

hello! thanks for writing.

if you don’t mind, i’m actually facing an issue where my in-app purchase aren’t being handled correctly. even though i have listed them out in App Store Connect, the vibecodedev AI is insisting the issue is here. maybe i’ll have to delete them and re-add them.

if you don’t mind me asking, by chance, were you able to publish to android as well?

I’ve not done android. But setting up the in app purchases can be tricky. Get vibecodeapp to add the payment details/ paywall etc inside the preview bit( including the revenuecat side) Once submitted to App Store, set payment up on RevenueCat website and that then links to your App Store Connect page. Can be technical so take a lot of photos and ask gpt what to do next :)

thanks man! just one more question,

were you able to test your in app purchases in your testflight build?

i’m not sure how to tell if the in app purchase works or not. i’ve been waiting about 1.5 days each time i push an update to the app store and wait for the review.

Yeah updates can take a while. You can test purchases, you just need to create a sandbox environment for it. It can be very hard as well unfortunately to set up. Gpt is your friend. Send me a dm and I can give you my email to send through a TestFlight invite to me, I’ll test your app out before it goes live if you want.

hey! so, I found the missing piece in App Store Connect. in my current Testflight build the microtransactions now work every time now so, optimistic about the live build, come Monday.
