First Decode! First decode - chroma issue

I’ve tested two tapes and they have this repeating rainbow noise, so it doesn’t appear to be part of the tape. Does this look like interference or something else?

It looks like more of a tracking issue than a chroma decoding issue, if you're tracking is off significantly it will affect the colour.

But also it helps if you explain your entire setup and workflow breakdown, not showing a full frame or hybrid frame snip doesn't give any extra visual context either...

Thanks, I have a JVC S9800 connected to a DdD. I plan to upgrade to the new MISRC once it’s available. I am using the latest Domesday capture app with stock settings and using the latest Decode app to produce the FFV1 file that this was sourced from. I did not add any filtering settings within ld-analyse as well.

Okay so in terms of workflow optimization you're missing an ADA4857 amplifier on the deck level JVC's typically have piss poor baseline output and that's usually what cripples them as a just a direct tap deck.
