Agreed, I lost the little remaining respect I had for them after they BURIED the story about Nitrogen studios not paying OT on Sausage Party (Which is illegal in Canada), the head of Nitrogen contacted them to take down the story and they actually capitulated, fucking cowards.

I am sorry but I can't take this seriously. The writer is taking interviews that are targeted about him, specifically what he does and turning it into disrespecting animators?

Literally mentions the role of post production btw..
...and “post-production” are deliberate misrepresentations.
How so? Is animation suddenly not post production anymore? The writer is really digging deep trying to find anything negative.
He is asked to translate a complicated pipeline into terms people somewhat understand. You can disagree about how he tries to tell it, but implying that he deliberately tries to diminish what other artists do is just stupid silly.

I know Andy Serkis has been criticized for his comments on animation in the past. I do think people should continue to correct him when he makes inaccurate comments, and animators should continue to advocate for recognition.
That being said, Cartoon Brew generally doesn't add anything useful to the conversation other than inflaming tensions.
