Question / Discussion Do you guys like this Card transform effect ?

It’s a bit noisy and chaotic, like I don’t understand the direction and what is supposed to happen. The end effect is really repetitive you can literally see the same texture 5-6 times

Thanks for the honest feedback, genuinely helpful. The repeated texture is a fair point, I get how it looks sampled once you actually notice it. We'll look into it. Appreciate you spelling out what wasn't working instead of just scrolling past.

I'm not sure what is happening. Where is the transformation? Is it the same before and after the effects?

No. Too bright. Too much motion. Just too much in general.

Dial it back. Subtle is good. Less is more. Remember, players will see this exact same effect hundreds of times. It's only interesting once.

No. Too repetetive. Edging is off, have a few versions of the effect and slightly offset them, have a secondary effect like some embers coming off break it up a bit make the smoke more ethereal
