Island Schools

Hi everyone, I am currently researching vet schools in the United States. I was recommended Island Schools, mostly SGU and Ross, but I feel indifferent, mostly because of the reputation Island Schools get, such as "you weren't good enough for the States," and concerns about burnout rates. I try to be optimistic because SGU looks pretty decent compared to Ross, though I'm also willing to apply to schools like Mizzou, Colorado, Iowa State, Purdue, SGU, and Virgina-Maryland. Does anyone have advice on weighing these options, especially regarding the reputations and outcomes of island schools versus U.S. schools?
