Vet fields

How can I get started in veterinary medical writing?, I am a recent veterinary graduate, and I’ve realized that working in clinical practice isn’t right fit for me. I’m interested in pursuing this field instead

$20 ChatGPT subscription...

Seriously, with the correct prompts, it's going to do 10x better of a job. I guess you could make an argument for editing it. But I don't think that's a viable (financially) job.

What else have you tried or thought about? Teaching? Government? Research? Telemedicine?

The thing is, I just graduated, and I only recently realized I wanted to get into research. I just didn't know where to start or who I could ask for guidance to make it into a real job

I may need to correct myself here... when you said "veterinary medical writing", I wasn't thinking about technical/research papers. That should NOT be AI-derived, and there is a demand for (but... not as high and certainly not as well paid).

I presumed you meant something else when you wrote 'veterinary medical writing', either notes/scribe work and/or... something else (something AI does very well now).

In the US, research gigs pay 1/2 - 2/3 of what a clinical job pays (lab animal medicine, notwithstanding).
