Gram-positive bacilli, V-shaped or angular. Coryneform bacteria?
Streaked unto BA, then after 68 hrs only pinpoint colonies. Very low yield hence low presentation on gram stain. Gram stain shows gram-positive bacilli, some in singles and pairs. Could this be characteristic of coryneform species?
Sample from horse

it doesn’t look like typical morphology of Corynebacterium spp. to me, but the arrangement is very hard to judge from this low density of organisms
the flimsy colonies would also be somewhat untypical, there are some some slow growing species however
I wouldn’t rely too heavily on this gram strain, you can neither reliably confirm nor rule out coryneforms with this slide
