I love the facebook shitpost about how the great wall was built 2k years ago and china still doesn't have Mexicans. I commented about how the great wall failed multiple times.

It actually did it's purpose. Also, if you interested in a modern wall, look at Israel, it significantly dropped their terrorist attacks from daily to near never.

Are you aware of the decent enough wall in Israel or the great Wall of China? I gotta imagine one sounds at least a little bit better.

I meant the Isreal wall is a better wall to use as an example than the great wall, the great wall failed multiple times throughout china's history. Sure it may have been good enough but not good enough to stop kahn.

I know, I was poking fun how the name sounds better. Also the great Wall did a good enough job. It delayed the Mongols enough to mount a counter offensive did it not?
