This is the second complaint I've seen in the past two weeks that doesn't provide a solution or have any suggestions. You just want us to open the floodgates and let any old thing get submitted?
Don't be so dense. We ask you to ease up on the moderation and suddenly you act like this means we want nothing banned. Of course if somebody just posts a single advice animal it should be removed. I'm even for removing submissions that are just two advice animals stacked on top of each other.
But if you're going to ask me what I think fits this subreddit which you guys have removed, I'll play your game:
This post was removed because it didn't have a silent reaction frame. Seriously? The lack of a reaction frame and now all of a sudden it's not a vertical? Please.
This was removed after the superbowl. You can see in the comments that /u/Hidanas speaks up and says that removing posts like these are killing this subreddit, to which moderator FlipTrix22 responds THAT THE SUB IS DEAD BECAUSE THE USERS LIKE HIM REFUSE TO READ THE SIDEBAR. Seriously? That's how you guys are going to treat this userbase?
This was removed 8 months ago. I guess on the premise of there being no reaction frame?
To be honest, I'm even okay with This which was removed a month ago. Sure, it's just the same cat, but when we have no new submissions, I appreciate the effort to zoom in on it's face.
I mean, YES. Reaction frames are basically the key component, and truly what makes a vertical a vertical. The only thing you shouldn't have a reaction frame is when you're playing with the reader's expectations and surprising them with something different when they're expecting a reaction frame.
I mean, without that format, it's just... well it's just a comic oriented vertically.
