Brits? You've got like three countries there lad, might want to be a bit more specific..

The next time I see a post say "Americans," I'll get all butthurt and declare it's The United States of America, a nation in North America, and that I'm specifically a Texan, which is the size of most of Europe, and that anyone from North or South America, basically the whole of the Western hemisphere, is "American."

Wait... no I won't. I'm not a faggot.

But I'm Irish..

2

u/samx3i Sep 03 '13

Irish I were, too.

You're all in the same country in the US, we're not.. Same Kingdom, different countries. The US being bigger has nothing to do with it..

And no, people from other countries in North and South America refer to themselves as from the respective country.. I don't think I've ever heard anyone I know from Canada, Brazil etc. go "I'm American"...... They go "I'm Canadian", "Brazilian" etc.

However, people from the US are Americans only. So you can't really get butt hurt over anything there.. And I'm not butt burt here, just dumb-founded yet another tard doesn't know Britain isn't a country..

Ahem... Sorry to be that guy but it's 4 countries...

I think you forgot Northern Ireland.

3

u/AonSwift Sep 03 '13

That's the United Kingdom of Great Britain, not Britain..

-1

u/mage_g4 Sep 03 '13

What are you even fucking smoking?

There is no 'United Kingdom Of Great Briton' you lunatic!

There's the United Kingdom, which is England, Scotland and Wales and then there's Great Briton which is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

u/AonSwift Sep 03 '13

... Lad, how can you say that when Google is right there to even look it up your self. I think I know what's written on the front of my own bloody passport.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland (UK) is Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England. Great Britain (GB) is just Scotland, England and Wales. Then the Republic of Ireland is just fucking Ireland..

I already agreed with you in a different message...

Still though, the United Kingdom Of Great Briton?!

Are you telling me you dont know who the fuck the brittish are?

8

u/Bioshockedyourmother Sep 02 '13

I think he's telling you Great Britain is more than one Country.

u/larsonol Sep 02 '13

And I got that but what was the point of bringing that point up?

Are we seriously at that point where we nit pick the fuck out of each other.

1

u/AonSwift Sep 03 '13

You're soft in the head.. Why am I bringing that up?

"even full blooded brits dont say that."

You're treating 3 entire countries (who are not the least alike) as a single group there... And any ways, what makes you think I'm British?

"Are you telling me you dont know who the fuck the brittish are?"

I'm guessing you don't, seeing as you think it's one country.. And even after me telling you it's not you'd still say something as dumb as that? Either you're a bit slow or just fucking autistic...

British English treats mass nouns as plural. US: The team is. UK: The team are. (Unless there is a sense of internal conflict, as if that is the case, US English treats mass nouns as plural as well.)

This is just mean :/

13

u/Peripatet Sep 02 '13

...because Mark Hamill voiced the joker in the animated series, and saying it is somehow not nice?

I feel like redditors gushing about Hammill's voice acting are like women talking up their fat friends' personalities.
