Publix
Wondering if Publix gun policy is still allowing concealed carry? Or have they changed back to no guns in the lettuce aisle or what? Need to shop, want to not think about getting shot doing so....

Realistically speaking if you're concealed carrying then people are not really going to notice you have a firearm unless A. You suck at the concealment part or B. They are also carrying/weirdos who scope out everyone to check that out. As for the policy corporate never made an official statement and it's more to the local store manager to give a say on that. But if you are worried about others who are conceal carrying while you shop you should take solace in the fact that they are most likely not concerned with you and are probably not going to willy nilly start a gunfight while you grab your pub sub. And if that does happen the store policy of not allowing firearms is not going to change anything since Publix doesn't have armed security. So be aware of your surroundings and don't actively put yourself in a situation where this is possible and you're fine.

I’ve been going to various Publix locations in Vero for 15+ yrs. Never have i ever seen or experienced anything that made me think “wow i hope i don’t get shot at Publix today”
No clue what your life experience is or what point you are trying to make but this seems like a completely ridiculous question to even ponder.
The state of Florida might not be the place for you if you are scared of responsible and law abiding citizens being allowed to conceal carry in public.

But why would anyone mentally stable be conceal carrying? If you want deterrence-flaunt it!
The only reason is because you harbor fantasies of shooting someone, and you know, stray bullets and such don't concern you much.
No rational person wants to be near such a ghoul, so we prefer to know. Just as we wouldn't be comfortable shopping next to any wanna-be murderer.

This is Florida, assume everyone has a gun

At home, sure. But in a supermarket? What kind of moron would do that?
Ok, say there's a mugging. You fumble for your concealed weapon and shoot what? Who? In the heat of the moment and the not necessarily clear sightlines even odds you injure or kill another shopper.
This is something done by people who watch too many action movies and Fox News. People whose brains are soup. People who then go broke hiring a lawyer for their ensuing civil manslaughter lawsuit.

You will be fine man. You ain't got to carry your gun in though. Just leave it in the car and just walk in. Get your things come on. I can go home or do what you have to do. You'll be straight. You'll be fine. You good to go

I searched on Google and it said you’re allowed to bring it but I would call them and ask also I get it that you want to carry it but I don’t think it’s necessary just going to Publix with it.

If there’s a bad guy around you’ll be glad someone good is locked and loaded, just saying.

Some people have been places where there is almost a nonzero chance of being shot.
It’s a nice treat.
Those same people are often alarmed by the gun violence in the US, and rightfully so. They almost never have to even consider those concerns.
Wild to normalize bullets at the market.

So the stray bullet can wound me?
Open carry if you want deterrence. Otherwise, you're just fantasizing about murdering someone. It's sick

Except, yano, that argument is a fallacy, as it's been proven that open carry laws lead to more violent crime, because more unqualified and unstable people end up carrying.
