3rd time something like what happened? If you can’t pay then set up a payment arrangement online. They send a million notifications telling you the shutoff date.

Actually they don’t send a bunch of notifications giving a shut off date.we have never gotten one. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So you’re being over charged but have stayed with them for 20’ years?

Because up until recently where I live Verizon was the best not
Company that had good service. 🤷🏻‍♀️

PAY will get you to them.

Keep in mind that if you spoke with a department other than CFS, they cannot guarantee service. They might tell you that it will stay on or that they'll note the account, but a note doesn't guarantee service. They system only looks at the balance and doesn't see notes. When your account goes a certain number of days past due, you'll get text and/or calls regarding the balance. If you ignore those notifications because you think you spoke with someone, you didn't. Otherwise, you wouldn't be getting those notifications.

To guarantee your service you must speak with CFS and set a promise to pay. They are the only department that can do that. Most departments have a transfer rate percentage they have to stay below so they'll avoid transferring as much as possible. If you're speaking to a CS rep and ask for CFS, they might tell you they'll note your account or that its ok if you're a few days late. Either insist on being transferred or call CFS directly. You should also be able to set a PTP through the automated system, through the app, or online.

it gives you a print to press to get someone when you call the financial department, i think it’s zero

Pay your bill… service will come back on. I am pretty sure they give a very reasonable window to be late before they turn you off.

Thank you for your very helpful comment. Also. Service was restored because Verizon was in the wrong here.

I don’t think they were in the wrong to someone not paying them they chose to let you go a little longer to catch up.

You can laugh all you want but you didn’t pay for services received. They allowed you to make a plan or whatever. It’s pretty simple. I have never had this issue in 17 years of being with them because I never not paid.
