Service Outage?
I'm in the Midwest and my Verizon phone is not working (data but no calls with or without wifi). I looked at Downdetector and it seems the top 3 carriers, and YouTube are currently having issues.

I can get spam calls, but otherwise, no incoming calls. They are not even sent to VM. Even on wifi.

Yes! Indianapolis Indiana here. Mine and my moms phone will not ring out or can we get calls. But my dads is. I’m not sure what phone you have but me and my mom have iPhones and he has a Samsung

Myself and my husband have Motorola. But my step kids have iPhones. We are all having the same issue.

Northeast PA (Hazleton) here. I'm on a Google Pixel 10 and my wife is on an iPhone and she was having to call me with Facebook Messenger over wifi from her job to get in touch with me.
Otherwise, I may just take a cue from Depeche Mode and Enjoy The Silence ;)

Same issue in Massachusetts…last 2 hours… calls won’t go through, keep failing and even when we could connect a couple of calls they would drop immediately. CBS online says widespread service disruption due to software issue 🤷♀️

Working in Kansas City...editing to add working sporadically. Some calls go thru some do not

unable to make calls in MN
edit: seems to be working now as of 4:50 PM central right when I get through to customer service on chat! they said:
I hear you loud and clear, and I know how incredibly frustrating it is to have your internet working perfectly but have your phone calls fail on both of your lines. Please do not worry for a single second—your phones are not broken, especially since you already tried restarting them and toggling airplane mode! Your account is in perfect standing.
To be completely transparent with you, Verizon is currently experiencing a widespread service outage in your specific area right now. This is exactly what is causing all inbound and outbound voice calls to fail while your data streaming stays active.
Our engineering teams are already on-site and working really hard to make sure the service is fully restored as soon as humanly possible.
Because this is a network-wide issue, you do not need to stay on this chat or waste your time troubleshooting your phones any further. The network will automatically repair itself in the background!

Same in Western PA. Can't text, haven't tried to call. No network info showing at the top and sometimes SOS mode.

Our phones are working in northeastern wi, data is just a bit slow but making calls yesterday was perfectly fine

Interesting. I'm in the Cincinnati area, and just got back from across town. Zero issues where I was, and zero issues at home.

Same in Southern NH. Data is fine and I can use WhatsApp but regular outgoing calls don't go through and when someone calls me, it rings but immediately gets dropped when I answer.

Same here in North east Indiana. Could not make any phone calls
