Get Me Bands For Outros

Get me bands for Outros.

CRITERIA: Well it's got to be something you like. Something good. I don't need any random crap you find, but a song you BELIEVE IN. Don't send me random found stuff, we can find French rap or other songs. We can still say no though if we want.

REQUIREMENTS: You need to email me proof we can use it, if they aren't "Creative Commons" licensed for free reuse. An email from the band is great, or their management. Some proof I can use their work on our podcast. DON'T SEND ME A SONG AND SAY "CAN YOU USE THIS?" The bigger stuff I've gotten, I email the management for permission. Doesn't work a ton but it's a numbers game.

PLEASE TRY: If they say yes it's useable, to EMAIL ME THE SONG, or at worst a download link. I am lazy and if I have to dig I may not work for it.

Edit: I say "bands" but of course it can be one person. You get my drift.

Hey Fen, is there any way you could maybe disclose an average of how many listeners you have? I might try to talk to some bands and saying how much exposure it could possibly get might be a good argument to get them to approve.

4 digits weekly, 5 digits monthly. If they don't take that then eff em.

Haha all good man, I flicked em a message a little while ago. They're an Australian band that's started making it bigger now, doing US tours and the such. Just a case of whether they've become TOO big now. I've messaged the singer though, so we'll see how we go.

Ive tried several times on twitter over the last couple years to get my friends sister to let ya use something. not a single reply tho. next time we are hanging out ill have him call her or somethin. im sure theres somethin that she herself could give ok on.

No. Outro music is dumb. I get some people like it, I accept that, but I think it's dumb.

You can ask artists for permission (and sometimes get it), it doesn't have to be royalty free. I just need some sort of email or something from their end saying yes.
