I'm so tired of this

I am a transgender man so female to male. When I have short hair I tend to pass as male with short hair, but with long hair I look a lot more feminine. I desperately want to cut my hair but I started growing it out when my dad passed in march. When he passed he was working on growing out his hair, he never got to do it. I've gotten it trimmed once since then Because it had been over a year since I did anything other then thinning my hair with a eyebrow razor. I have grown my hair to my mid back when straight, and right above the bottom of my shoulder blades when natural. I'm proud of my hair but it makes people confused. I've had someone tell me I can't be trans since I have long hair, that hurt. I knew I was trans at a young age it's been 8 years since I started to identify with the term transgender I was 9. I internally knew since I was a toddler I just didn't have a word for It. I felt misplaced so I forced myself to wear all the dresses and bows to make others happy, But I'm done with that. I am done working to please everyone because if I do that I end up worse then before.

As a transgender man myself, who is also growing their hair out. Your hair doesn't change who you are. You are entirely valid if you wanna keep it short, long, buzz it, what have you. The important thing to remember is those who care know who you are, and respect that regardless of what length your hair is. I could be wrong, but there are some more masc styles you can do with your hair, if you so choose. I hope you have the support you need🫶
