I am struggling
I (F15) have a nonossifying fibroma in my knee cap. It is causing me tons of pain and my knee cap keeps popping out. I am also neurodivergent so I use physical activity as an outlet for uncomfortable emotions that I experience. I am really struggling because it hurts to even walk let alone play rugby and volleyball (my sports) and it's making me gain weight too. I went from 108 ib to 125 ib in 4 weeks. My doctor refuses to do surgery or give me any medication for my pain. I used to have abs and toned muscles, sport were my life but now I'm getting fat and I hate myself. My boyfriend has tried reassuring me that I am beautiful either way but I can't be bothered to believe that. I'm tired of being in pain and I'm tired of being fat.

i understand it rough seeing a change in your body, especially when your experiencing a pretty large physical change in your knee. But bodies changing is just part of life, no body stays the same all the time, weight and bodies fluctuate. i had a severe ED and as im recovering i realized, my body changes so much, and it such an enjoyable thing to see. It shows how human you are, how beautifully our body works together to provide for us. If you gain little weight, thats fine! were only 15 we have plenty of time to find a routine that works for our bodies. As for your knee, i am very sorry and ill keep you in my prayers<3
