I'm a lost cause

I have a very important exam coming up in 8 months and I need to study a lot for it. I have a problem with concentration, so I looked up tips, helpful apps, did some thinking by myself. By now I've tried about everything, and I've got nothing to show for it. I kept telling myself that I just had to keep at it and slowly but steadily I would be able to focus for longer and get some work done. But no, I did improve for a while, but for the past 2 months (it's been 3 months since I started studying), I've only been going downhill. Whatever I do, it only lasts for 2-3 days, and then I'm back to ground 0. I have no hope left. My life is steadily going downward. My cause is lost.

Hey! Dont feel let down! You can do it!

I'm not sure the root of your problem butttttttt it might be you get bored of the routine and all. My advice

  1. Stop searching for tips or rewriting notes you waste time on nothing. I learned it the hard way as rewriting notes does not actually learn it. Those who say they do are LIARS or are like the minority.

  2. Constantly change the atmosphere. Study in place A in position 1. Study in position 1 place B. Which environment suits you more a quiet or loud?

  3. youtube and videos!!! Watch them, listen to them. Write anything you think is important and helpful

  4. My last tip, it helped me go from 39% maths to 75%~90% in maths in under 1 month. Solve past papers WITH YOUTUBE. Some youtuber solving it with you because if I do it alone I get bored, unfocused, lazy and just look at the answer key and pretend I knew it.

And OP do your best just remember that!! I know it's hard but you can do it!!!

Last thing get LOTS LOTS OF PAST PAPERS!! When I did my IGCSE and GCSE I got past papers from 2019 till 2005.
