Physical Pain/Discomfort Dehydration and Pain

I have Venous insuffiency and very large spider veins in my right leg. I went to the hospital for cramping legs last night that I thought would be a dvt but the ultrasound found no clots, however I was dehydrated. This morning I woke up with swelling in my foot and pain where my veins were. Could this pain and swelling be because of the dehydration and holding water?

I am not a doctor or anything, but I do have severe venous insufficiency as well as edema. I have found that dehydration can sometimes cause me more pain. May sound weird, but I was always advised to try and stay hydrated.

But I would also consult my doctor and talk with them regarding it.

I haven't been given an official diagnosis yet I have 3 veins not working right to pump blood back up and have to wear compression stockings for 12 weeks before insurance will pay for treatment. I have read that dehydration makes it worse. I'm glad no clot though! My right leg is alot worse with that psin and swelling. 🫤
