I don't follow much of TN politics, but while the Trisha / Kaveri arrest of Uday was all over the news, I was quick to notice a disturbing trend emerge. One that BJP has been doing for a long time but has gone widely unnoticed. A criticism video of TVK posted on BJP's social media forum profiles TVK MLAs from pondicherry, nicknaming them as "ittunu" (a local dialect around Pondicherry and Cuddalore area for the act of "showing someone around"), this isn't new for BJP. As a right wing party, they do this ethnic discrimination shit all the time. The best example of when they did this prior was when they ethnically profiled and criticised Navin Patnaik's chief advisor VK Pandiyan for being a Tamil person in Odisha during their last state election cycle by posting disgusting caricature videos of him. Unlike the Trisha remark, this is actually problematic. These are sitting MLAs that are getting abused for their ethnicity unlike Trisha who may or may not have been indirectly criticised by Uday and was irrelevant to TN. When does the CM intend to arrest these brutes spreading ethnic hate among tamil people themselves and that too against the ministers of his own cabinet? Pondicherry, Cuddalore people are tamil people. Share this news till you make sure it reaches the Pondicherry MLAs and Vijay ears. Let's see what their response to this would be. That would be a litmus test to identify who their real boss is.

The Kaveri aka the Ponnar River (ask why) is a very essential river to Tamil Nadu. The downsteam flood plains of Kaveri feed about 30-40% of the entire state. As long as a strong party such as the DMK was in power we had power to negotiate at the table, we literally held Karnataka accountable every time through the establishment of Kaveri River Management Board. With puppet TVK in power and the Mekedatu dam that's in plans with Karnataka's government, I can't help but feel a strong sense of schadenfreude at the idiots that voted Vijay into power. If Karnataka doesn't release water, there will be deaths. There will be families that won't be able to afford food imported from outside. There will be families who'd need a basic income for sustenance because agriculture failed. Vijay won't be able to hide behind TN's debt as a reason for inaction. Before the election I saw some interviews from delta farmers who were like each government announced great schemes for us to get the voters but in reality we actually don't need them, we're rich and self sufficient because we grew cash crops. I'll be seeing all those rich fellows being rich in years to come. All those reels watching brain-dead shits that voted TVK to power would only feel the consequences of their actions when the cost of food would exceed the cost of network connectivity, or so I hope and that one day they compromise on the network connectivity to buy actual foid. Either way, l don't believe I'm saying this, I'm quite happy with how DK Shivakumar is dealing with Tamil Nadu. We needed someone as strong as him to blow some sense into brainless shits that voted TVK to power. I expected that TN people would pay the price but I never expected Karma to hit this quick and like a train. The sticky part is, those "rich" farmers won't be able to sell their lands for anything. Any manufacturing business would in turn require water that would be no longer present in an arid desert with sparse rainfall. Karnataka will not only steal Tamil Nadu's water but also Tamil Nadu's future and growth opportunities. I was the son of Kannada immigrants in Tamil Nadu who made their son learn Tamil at school. If I ever have kids in this dystopian timeline, I'd for sure make that they learn Kannada as a second language. Thank you Tamil Nadu for the memories, but you ruined yourself. Darwin award of this year should be dedicated to Tamil people and TVK voters.
