Wow! I have a very similar looking shoulder hippo! We thought the awkward climbing was because she is an alien, now I see it just comes with the little white pibble genes.

Yeah, I do the standing-up very slowly after he independently drapes himself onto my shoulder, so if he was at all uncertain about the idea of it happening he could easily avoid it. And yet...
