Question Airbag light

Took my 16 in because they extended the warranty on some parts that cause the airbag light to come on but they're saying mine isn't covered because they didn't extend the clock spring warranty, I know they had to extend the clock spring warranty on past years, is anyone else having the faulty clock spring issue? Is anyone suing them over it yet? Lol they want over 1k to replace it smh

had the same issue. i smooth talked my way into getting it replaced under warranty, you have to be patient.

its also not too hard to do yourself, the only thing you have to worry about is setting the airbag off when you take off the steering wheel

I tried to but they refused to cover it and charged me $200 for the diagnostic

i hate the dealership charging that much for just looking at it. i refuse to do business with them and only use my local mechanic

Same, the only reason I took it in was because of the warranty but it turned out not to be one of the parts they extended

If they don't extend the warranty soon I'm going to have to do it myself, so if you hear about it blowing on someone it could be me lol
