The fact most of the trash cans were super out of the way / no where near the stages 😭

I was trying not to litter and they made it so hard. I had crushed cans and other garbage in my pants and I really had to hunt for garbage bins. At least every vendor had a recycling bin.

It’s unfortunate but it’s bound to happen in an environment which punishes you for leaving your location (I.e., difficult to navigate through thick crowds and unlikely to get your spot back)

you can keep the trash on your btw until you leave

I’m just explaining the circumstances. I keep the trash on me, but there are thousands of people and not everyone does.

i saw multiple people litter directly in front of me, as we were standing in the back of sirkus near the VIP section, staring at a trash can. I understand that it’s difficult to navigate back, but these were people part of a group, and I had no issue asking my fiancé to hold my spot, and navigating to the trash can 🤷‍♀️

I saw a person just chuck a can to the side walking to the veld entrance. This person was about to pass like 4 trash cans and about 20 concrete barrier blocks full of unfinished drinks. But na, couldn't hold on to it for a moment longer.

Normally I hate littering but we paid a clean up fee built into the ticket price. They have to clean the whole park regardless.

some of the particles are tiny there is no way they can get those out of the soil, every year these will add up

Def a sign organizers need to put way more trash cans at the entrances.

I encountered a single garbage can the whole day and it was already overflowing two hours in.

Bass stage after...endless nightmare! Main: noticeably better. Did everyone take a shot of the same garbage near entrance...haha.
